Named after the famous author, who lived in the city of Oakland in
the late 1800s, Jack London Square has become a well-loved and popular
destination for locals and visitors. Jack London is best known for
the novels he wrote about the Alaskan wilderness such as The Call
of the Wild, White Fang, and The Son of the Wolf . If
you are interested in the history of the region, the Jack London Museum,
