Ferry to Provide Service
During 3-Day Bay Bridge
Closure Feb 18, 19 & 20
Beginning at 8:00 PM on Friday, February 17 through 5:00 AM on Tuesday, February 21, the upper deck of the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge, which carries drivers westbound from Oakland into San Francisco, is scheduled to be closed as part of the new bridge construction project. The lower deck, which carries traffic from San Francisco to the East Bay, will remain open throughout the closure.
In order to provide transportation alternatives into San Francisco over the 3-day Presidents Day weekend, The San Francisco Bay Ferry will be providing additional service on all three days - Saturday, Sunday and Monday - on both its Oakland/Alameda/San Francisco and Harbor Bay/San Francisco routes. Special scheduled are in effect on these days; the ferries return to their regular weekday schedule on Tuesday, February 21.
