Main Street Terminal Closed The City of Alameda has closed the Main Street ferry terminal until further notice. The terminal was closed as a safety precaution to allow the City to conduct an inspection of the pier supporting the passenger walkway. This closure affects only the Alameda Main Street terminal and does not affect service to or from Oakland's Jack London Square. Alameda riders may board the ferry in Oakland or they may take the Alameda Harbor Bay ferry. The Harbor Bay ferry is accepting Alameda/Oakland ferry tickets. The Harbor Bay ferry schedule is available at www.alamedaharborbayferry.com. We will post a service update regarding Monday's ferry service on the recorded information line by noon on Sunday, January 21st.
