Alameda/Oakland Ferry to Dock at New Ferry Building Location

Beginning on Tuesday, April 11 and continuing through Sunday April 16, the ferry will dock at a new San Francisco Ferry Building location: "Gate B," located at the northern end of the Ferry Building.

On Monday, April 17, the ferry will return to "Gate E," its regular berth, located at the southern end of the Ferry Building. The Port of San Francisco requested the venue change to allow installation of interior passenger gates at Gate E. The interior gates will allow passengers to assemble under the overhead shelter at the docks while waiting to board.

Once Gate E construction is completed, Gate B will be closed for similar work. These closures will result in increased through traffic at the operating terminal as ferry services are temporarily relocated during construction.

Customer Service Representatives will be on site to facilitate passenger loading and unloading. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation.
