This weekend marks the return of Fleet Week to the San Francisco Bay Area; an annual event highlighted by amazing performances by the Blue Angels and the arrival on the bay of an impressive fleet of naval ships. To help accommodate the anticipated passenger demand, we will be doubling our carrying capacity. The Alameda-Oakland Ferry will be operating its normal weekend schedule (including service to Angel Island), however, we will be utilizing additional ferries so that we can provide direct service throughout most of the day between San Francisco and Alameda, and between San Francisco and Oakland. PLEASE NOTE: There will be one slight modification to the normally-scheduled 2:50 departure from Pier 41. On Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9, this departure will only provide service to Alameda (via Angel Island). It will not go to Oakland as scheduled. Passengers traveling from Pier 41 to Oakland around that time should plan to take either the earlier 1:10 departure, or the later 4:55 departure. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience during this busy weekend. Have a great Fleet Week!
