 Dock Locations
Click on the following links to view maps of our East Bay (Oakland and Alameda) and San Francisco (Ferry Building and Pier 41) dock locations:

Oakland Dock - at the base of Clay Street near Jack London Square
Alameda Dock - 2990 Main Street

SF Ferry Building Dock - South Teminal, Gate E (near Sinbad's Restaurant)
SF Pier 41 - adjacent to Pier 39 (limited service during strike)

 Tickets and Fares
The standard adult fare is $5.50 one way, $11.00 round trip. Other fares and discounted multi-ticket booklets are available. Click here for complete fare information.

Purchasing tickets: during the strike, tickets will be sold in most cases on land at the dock (not onboard the boat). Purchase tickets before getting in line to board the boat. We accept cash, checks, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Commuter Checks.

 Parking
Parking at all dock locations is extremely limited and we expect that the available spaces will fill up early. We strongly recommend that riders take public transportation, carpool or be dropped off at ferry docks.

Parking availability at dock locations includes:

Oakland - approximately 450 spaces at the Washington Street Garage (which will open at 5:00 a.m.) plus nearby overflow parking at Webster Street and the Embarcadero, 4 blocks east of the Clay Street terminal. Please note that for the duration of the strike there will be no free parking at Oakland. Parking in the Washington Street garage and in the special overflow parking area east of the ferry terminal will cost $2.00 per day with validation.

Alameda - Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the terminal, along the street and in the overflow lot west of the terminal. Note: Do not park in the Rosenblum Winery or Bay Ship and Yacht lot to the east of the terminal.

SF Ferry Building - Parking is very limited around the ferry terminal. Riders are encouraged to use public transportation when boarding the ferry at the SF Ferry Building.

Pier 41 - Parking is available at an hourly fee in the Pier 39 parking garage, located across the Embarcadero from Pier 41 and Pier 39.

 Public Transit Connections
Public transit connections are available at or near all East Bay and San Francisco ferry terminals. Taxis, shuttles and pedicabs may also be available. Every ferry ticket comes with an attached AC Transit bus transfer allowing ferry riders free AC Bus ridership to and from the Oakland Clay Street (Jack London Square) ferry terminal or the Alameda (Main Street) ferry terminal. An additional charge is required for AC Express (X) buses.
